Founded in 2000, WestChina-Frontier Pharmatech is a professional GLP facility.

After more than 20 years of development, WCFP has established a standardized, international, large scale, information-based non-clinical drug research and evaluation center, becoming an important technical support system for new drug development and an innovation center for new drug evaluation technology in China.

Backed by the outstanding scientific research and clinical resources of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, WCFP has achieved in-depth integration of industry-academia-research resources and technical innovation.

WCFP has successively passed NMPA GLP certification, U.S. FDA GLP on-site inspection, OECD GLP certification, AAALAC International certification, U.S. CAP certification and CNAS certification many times. We have taken the lead in the construction of LIMS system in line with international standards, realizing the international standardization of data management technology.

Covering an area of over 100 acres, WCFP has GLP-compliant advanced experimental facilities of about 80,000 square meters, a professional team of more than a thousand technical talents along with state-of-the-art testing and analytical equipment for experimental researches in rats, mice, Guinea pigs, rabbits, dog, miniature pigs, monkeys, and other laboratory animals. WCFP offers a wide variety of services, covering non-clinical efficacy and safety study and assessment of chemical drugs, biotech drugs, vaccines, traditional Chinese medicines, cell products, and gene therapy products, development of analytical methods for small molecules and biomolecules, and immunogenicity studies.

Using the FDA-approved data acquisition system (Pristima®), WCFP can provide clients with multilateral regulatory submission services in China, the United States, EU, Japan and Korea. So far, it has completed the non-clinical research and evaluation of more than a thousand new drugs and successfully submitted regulatory application dossiers to FDA for more than a hundred new drugs.
